This month marks the two year anniversary of Randy’s death. So many of his family and friends still feel a tremendous loss. However, there is a silver lining to even the darkest clouds. This month also marks the two year anniversary of The Randy Schopen Foundation. Although, Randy is gone, his memory, and positive impact lives on through The Randy Schopen Foundation. Randy was always the first person to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Over the last two years I’ve spoken to countless people from all over who were thankful for something Randy did for them. One quote that always stood out to me was,
“How could one person make such an impact on others in 61 short years? Randy’s stories will live forever.”
I heard similar things over and over again.
After Randy’s death family and friends recognized the fact that individuals and organizations in the surrounding communities will feel a huge loss. Randy helped countless local organizations and causes. To help fill the void that Randy left The Randy Schopen Foundation was formed.
The foundation’s mission is to continue Randy’s legacy of helping others and supporting the community.
Randy took great pride in his hometown of Jefferson, Jefferson County, southern Wisconsin, and surrounding communities. The Randy Schopen Foundation continues to focus on those areas allowing us to directly help your family, friends, and neighbors.
Since The Randy Schopen Foundation was formed it has awarded $43,187 in grants to local recipients.

It is truly amazing to think about all the people who are being helped through the foundation. I think Randy would be proud of all that the foundation has done in the past two years. I know Randy would be amazed at how many people have supported and contributed to the foundation.
Thank you for your support!
