The Randy Schopen Foundation is pleased to report the following grants awarded in June and July, 2024:
– Gift cards given to a couple to help the wife, who is disabled, and the husband in Stage 4 cancer and unable to work.
– A grant to the Jefferson Optimist Club in support of their children’s summer theatre.
– A grant to Jefferson Co 4-H meat and animal sale.
– A grant of a van payment to a single mom of 5 children, struggling to make ends meet.
– A grant to Jefferson Live Music Foundation. RSF will sponsor the 8/29/24 concert.
– A grant to a single mom of 6 children, a victim of domestic violence and sexual abuse (verified by case worker) now homeless, for motel rent.
– $2,500 to Jefferson County Christmas Neighbors.
– $2,000 to Jefferson County Emergency Communications.
– Sponsorship of Great Eggtober Hunt by Jefferson Parks & Rec.
– Three applications outstanding from individuals with information submitted needing to be verified.
