The Randy Schopen Foundation is pleased to report the following grants awarded in November and December, 2024. The grant committee requires references and follows up on the grant applications to verify the needs of individuals.

– A grant to a single mom with significant health problems, requesting help to pay basic living expenses until she is medically released to go back to work.

– A grant to a homeless lady with mental health challenges to help with motel living expenses while Human Services works to procure her housing.

– A grant to an elderly lady amputee on dialysis also requiring surgery, who asked for help with her insurance deductible.

– A grant to a homeless mother of 2 young children with health issues, who has a medical release to go back to work but needs help with car repairs for transportation to get to work. Working full-time, she can now look for housing.

– A grant to an elderly, disabled woman, forced to move when her husband died, asking for help to purchase a bed and mattress from St. Vincent’s.

– A grant to a single woman forced to be off work because of significant health issues, fallen behind on rent. Now medically released to resume work, asking for help with back rent.
