The Randy Schopen Foundation is pleased to report the following grants issued in April and May, 2025:
– A young woman pursuing further education, but recently diagnosed with an illness and facing homelessness, requested help towards rent until her financial aid came through.
– Badgerland After School Enrichment (BASE), out of school care.
Safe Families for Children. SFFC has three primary objectives: 1. Prevent child abuse. 2. Support and stabilize families in crises. 3. Deflect children from entering the welfare system.
– A single mom, working full time but recently diagnosed with an aneurysm and heart failure, requested help toward their residence motel rent for 2 weeks.
– Jefferson Optimist Club in support of Missoula’s Children’s Theater.
– A single mom of a newborn infant, unable to work, recovering from three major surgeries, asking for a small grant for food and gas money.
– Jefferson Concerts in the Park. Randy Schooen Foundation will sponsor the June 26th concert.
– Ready Kids for School, a program providing needed school supplies to Jefferson County children whose families are having financial difficulties. 525 children served in 2024.
– A note from the RSF 2025 scholarship recipient:
