The Randy Schopen Foundation is pleased to report the following grants awarded in June and July, 2025:
– Jefferson Park & Rec the Great Eggtober Hunt
– A single grandmother unable to work, fighting cancer and caring for her young grandson asked for help to catch up with rent/utilities
– 4-H County and State programs for 4-H youth.
– Jefferson County Christmas Neighbors
– Single mom working 2 jobs, suddenly homeless due to circumstances beyond her control, just secured an apartment and asking for help to purchase a bed for her daughter.
– Shop With a Cop of Jefferson County.
– An older single lady unable to work while recovering from heart surgery, requested temporary help for food and other expenses.
There are 5 grant applications pending that require more information and verification.
