The Randy Schopen “Give Someone A Chance” Foundation, JCF will be holding a Run/Walk Saturday, September 19th. This family friendly event will take place in conjunction with Gemuetlichkeit Days and will be held at the Jefferson County Fair Park. All proceeds from the event will go to The Randy Schopen Foundation grant program.

There will be in person registration at Capn’s Roadhouse on Wednesday, August 26th from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
The Run
The 5K fun run will start and finish at the Jefferson County Fair Park. The run will be timed and awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers.
The Walk
The two mile walk, which starts and finishes at the Jefferson County Fair Park, will be fun for all ages.
What Is A “Zero K”?
Want to help The Randy Schopen Foundation but running or walking isn’t your thing? By registering for the 0K option you’ll get all the cool stuff including a free beer (must be 21 or over), the event t-shirt, and all the free “swag” that is normally reserved for only the runners and walkers. You will also get the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to make your community a better place.
The day of the event all the 0K participants will line up at the starting line and walk over to the beer tent for their free beer.

On or after Tuesday, September 1st registration is:
$35 per Runner

$25 per 0K Participant
Every registration includes a free beer (must be 21 or over), the event t-shirt, and all the free “swag.” Any registrations on or after Tuesday September 1st will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.
Parking
Ample parking will be available at the Jefferson County Fair Park.
